Creating beautiful table tops is a labour intensive but fulfilling endeavor. Depending on the style and number of wood species included, a solid wood table top can require many hours of work.

The process begins with identifying which wood species will be utilized followed by planning the design. After the design is laid out the real work begins - preparing each piece for gluing. This aspect takes more time than all others combined.  Next, the slab needs to be planed down to the required thickness. Finally, the CNC router gets the easy job to make the final cut. This step by step process make just about any solid wood table top a possibility.

For larger projects the CNC router can cut the grooves required for additional bracing so that as time progresses the wood will not warp and bend.
